MULTIFORM ET76K TUBE END-FORMER:

The multiform ET76K can either expand or reduce the ends of tubes.
Up to 76mm diameter using standard tooling and 150mm diameter using non-standard tooling.
Another function of the machine is the facility to put ribs or dimples near the end of the tube.
This type of machine has many advantages over the ‘ram type’ tube end-former. 

1. A minimum number of tools required, as the adjustment is variable.

2. Clamp dies are not required, enabling short lengths of tube to be formed with less wastage.

3. It is possible to expand or reduce on or close to a bend because it is not necessary to grip the tube.

Average machine cycle time is 3 ½ seconds, with the changeover time between expanding and reducing tooling taking approximately 30 seconds.  With our “drop in” tooling, various sizes of tooling can be changed quickly resulting in minimum “down time” thereby increasing productivity.

Attached to the machine is a footswitch controlling the operation cycle.  This leaves both hands of the operator free to handle the component.

The machine measures 650mm wide, 800mm long and 1200mm high 200kg.

3 phase 44Ov to motor only limit switches and tool control are operated by Air Supply.

The Multi-form machine is a tube End former; it will Expand or Reduce tube to various sizes.
